Double-Chocolate White-Chip Cookies
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 cups butter, softened
1-1/4 cups granulated sugar
1-1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 tbs vanilla extract
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chips
1 cup chopped nuts, lightly toasted
Preheat the oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Beat the eggs and vanilla extract into the butter mixture. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chips and nuts.
Drop the cookie dough by level 1/4-cupfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake the cookies for 12 to 14 min or until light golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool for 2 min on baking sheets, then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely. Makes 24 cookies
