1 cup plus 2 Tbs all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup white baking chips
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
6 Tbs firmly packed brown sugar
6 Tbs granulated sugar
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, & salt; stir until well blended. Spoon flour mixture into a wide-mouth 1 quart jar with lid. Layer pecans, white baking chips, chocolate chips, brown sugar, & granulated sugar in a jar. Cover with lid. Give with baking instructions.
Yield: about 3 1/2 cups cookie mix
To bake: Preheat oven to 350. Pour mix into medium bowl and stir until well blended. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg, 2 Tbs milk & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract; beat until blended. Add oil mixture to dry ingredients; stir until a soft doughforms. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Store in airtight container.
