This is for Diane.. I just wanted to say we never eat steak either. But I do make a lot of soups and baked dishes.
I plan on taking the stakes and crock potting them until they are falling apart. Then I’ll split into small baggies and freeze. From that they can just be grabbed when making vegetable soup or some other dish.
It’s really nice to use quality meat in dishes like this since the vegetables stretch it. We hardly ever have pasta. But in my new “save money” mind set we will start again.
