we have a family of 7 here. We have dropped our grocery billed considerably. We were spending close to $1200 a month.
My husband had gastric bypass surgery last month and eats minimal meals. A large portion of our previous months bill was meat items. my husband was a big meat lover. Over 40% of our bill was meat.
We’ve reduced that down to 15% of our bill now. My kids and myself our not big meat eaters and we’ve been buying more pasta and fruit and vegetables.

Hey there,
We have a family of 8 and we are currently trying to stick with 800 per month or 200$ per week, whichever works….This means no extras and going without alot of stuff….We are down from our original figure of 2000$ per month! Not sure if we will hit our goal this month or not! Anxious to hear from more big families out there and how you do it!!!
