DIY Eggshell Concrete Candle Holders or Plant Pots

If you want to create awesome candleholders or custom planters using balloons and concrete!

You will need to have a bag of concrete, a bucket and some balloons. Gloves are handy too.

mix the bag of concrete as directed on the package, cover the area you’re working with newspaper.

blow up balloons the size of the container that you want and coat the balloon with the concrete mixture.

set it down and let it dry completely before breaking the balloon.

you can spray it with a sealer or paint it and then seal it if you prefer.

if you want a fat pot with a flat bottom, under-inflate the balloon very slightly, paint a thick coat of concrete on and then set it on a non-stick surface – saran wrap works fine.
