You could make this so easy using these camp loft bed plans, just cut all the measurements in half. Reduce the size in half for a large dog bed and into 1/3rds for a small dog bed.

so the measurements would be:

Original Measurement	Reduced by 1/2 for Large Dog	Reduced by 1/3rds for Sm Dog Or Fat Housecat
100″	50″	33 1/3″
44 1/2″	22 1/4″	14 5/6″
65 1/2″	32 3/4″	21 5/6″
