Oh, yes! I love doing Disney on a dime!

      1. Stay off-site. Anaheim is beautiful and walking to the hotel is
      not a problem.

We’ve stayed at the Tropicana, the Penny Sleeper, and
Hawthorne Suites. The first two have sparse, but sufficient
accomodations (like Motel 6). Continental breakfast is a donut and
      coffee.

Hawthorne sleeps up to six, luxurious accomodations, and full
buffett breakfast. Tropicana is closest and cheapest. Penny Sleeper
is maybe a mile walk, Hawthorne is 1.25 miles, but they offer a shuttle.

      2. Book well in advance and get as many discounts as possible. $60
buys you a AAA membership, but could save you $250+ off your trip.
      https://www.mousesavers.com has tips on discounts.

      3. Get free continental breakfast. Fill your bellies before you get
the park, and get there when the gates open. Skip lunch if you can.
      Park meals feed 2 easily.

If you must eat in the park, share and eat
lightly. There is a Denny’s and McDonald’s within walking distance of
the park, McDonald’s is close enough for lunch; Denny’s is not.

      4. Stash some individually-wrapped packs of snacks in your purse to
hold the kids over until meal time.

      5. “Off-season” is after Labor Day. We went early September/end of
      May and faced little crowding.

      6. Good websites to peruse:

      Have fun!!

      5. Buy one coke with a screw-top lid. Share it.

      Refill at water
      fountains.
