The weather has been unseasonably warm and I was horrified to discover one of these on my daughter yesterday! Use a Cotton swab to gently push against the skin…

Here’s how you do it, you’ll need a plain cotton swab lightly moistened with plain water, nothing more.

Remember, if you’re unsure whether or not the tick has been on the skin for less than 24 hours, you should take it and have it tested immediately for lyme disease. This nasty bacterial infection can and will cause chronic pain, partial paralysis, kidney failure and can even cause death. It’s debilitating and cannot be cured unless caught immediately.
