How to Fix device usb\vid_0c45&pid_6366&mi_00\9&183af011&0&0000 requires further installation Error
I’m assuming if you’re here, you’re attempting to install a webcam in Windows10 and you’re ready to throw it out the window.
First and foremost, restart your computer. I know- this sucks, you’ve already got 20 things running in the background, you don’t have tinme to close it all out and start all over, but trust me, you need to. Do not open your webcam/youcam product yet.
Next Open your settings, (Win + S Key)
Microphone Settings First
- Go to Microphone Settings. Toggle it off, removing all permissions.
Toggle it back on and make sure that you have the following items enabled:
- Voice recorder-> On.
- Allow Desktop Apps to access your microphone-> on.
- Camera-> On
Open your Camera Settings
- Toggle the camera settings OFF.
Toggle it back on and make sure the following are enabled
- Allow apps to access your camera
- Camera–> set to On
- Desktop App Web Viewer–> on
- Microsoft Store–> on
Then open Youcam and allow it to pick up your camera.
