I didnt have dental insurance and I had to get about 4 root canals and 4 caps put on. When you do the math it came to about 1500.00-2000.00 per tooth for just a regular dentist and root canal guy.
My sil is a dental hygenist and she recommended that i go to a dental school to get my root canals done. they do other work there to, but i am not exactly sure what.
you may want to ask your dentist to see if there is a school in the area that you could go to.

for instance, a root canal here in stl, mo would cost around $800-$1000.
At the school it cost me $460.00
