I drive one of those beaters. It is 15 years old and the most dependable car I

have ever owned. I am going to keep driving it until it becomes a problem.

Yes, we have to maintain it, Yes, we have to do the occasional repairs(hubby

does a lot of them), but it saves us a TON of money.

Well now I think that’s really foolish.

You end up owing 3,000 dollars for a car you don’t have anymore. And now

you own a beater that’s going to break down 2 or 3 times per year.
