I figure its like this… You spend like what you make.
Last year, our household income was about half of what it is now. And we
lived, paid rent, necessities, paid debt, three car payments and it worked.
It was tough but it worked. This year, I make way more (double). DH makes
more from his raise. And we live… We made two car payments, pay debt,
rent, the same necessities. Somehow the budget is still tight. I wonder
how we make it. And I look back and wonder how we DID make it last year.
It’s all a mind set. You CAN do what you want to do. Exactly as you said –
you hear what you want to hear.
