What is the lowest safest temperature for A/C with a toddler and a pet in the

house?

Unless we are sleeping, we are in the lower level of our home, where it is

cooler. Since we work full-time and our child attends daycare, our home is

empty except when I work at home. Our cat is home all day of course.

I want to lower the A/C and the heat, but I don’t want to endanger them, KWIM?

I do have a space heater for myself, when I am working at home. I am always

cold, so I leave it at my feet & I wear layers of clothes.
