      Good information. I wouldn’t have known that. I have often seen suggestions stating to use charcoal to remove odors in closets, etc.

Activated Charcoal can absorb carbon based impurities- which is what makes it an excellent filter. Charcoal Briquettes areactually wood! Charcoal is created by heating wood to high temperatures in the absence of oxygen. Meaning, you take wood, put it in a sealed box ofsteel or clay and heat it to about 1000 F (538 C). hth, ~Liss
