      I’m sorry I didn’t answer this sooner, I misplaced the email in the wrong folder. Actually No, it wouldn’t work, here’s why:

      Activated Charcoal -is atype of charcoal that has been treated with Oxygen(to open upmillions of tiny pores between the carbon atoms). Activated Charcoal can absorb carbon based impurities- which is what makes it an excellent filter.

      Charcoal Briquettes areactually wood! Charcoal is created by heating wood to high temperatures in the absence of oxygen. Meaning, you take wood, put it in a sealed box ofsteel or clay and heat it to about 1000 F (538 C).
