Crockpot Green Chile Pork Stew is very inexpensive and simple to make, serve it over freshly steamed rice with some refried beans for a complete meal!

In a Crockpot, Dump the Following ingredients in the order given:

2 lbs boneless pork loin roast, fat chopped off
      1 onion, diced
2 (4oz) cans chopped green chiles
      1 chopped jalapeno
10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chilies
      1/2 cup chicken broth
      1 T cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 tsp minced garlic
      Salt and pepper to taste

Stir it all up with a spoon.

Cook on low about 6 hours.

If you want to make your own Make-Ahead oamc (once a month cooking) fill the freezer meal- combine the ingredients in a gallon sized ziplock bag or in a Vacuum Seal/ Food Saver Bag.

(the time might vary according to your brand of slow-cooker, some cook at slightly higher temps, so be aware of how long it normally takes for your cooker to work to avoid under or over-cooking your food!!)

      more hints:

always spray your crockpot with non-stick spray before starting out to make clean up easier or line it with Crockpot liners.
