Create your own Creepy Eerie Glow in the dark “bloodstained” stairs to add some spookiness to your doorstep for the trick or treaters!
All you need is a bit of TSP (in the painters aisle at your local home depot or Lowes store). Dilute 1/3 cup in a quart of hot water. Gently splash it down over the stairs and then let it dry.
Switch out your porch lightbulb for a black light bulb (they have them at Walmart for $1) in the Halloween Section and also in Household Goods areas.this is so easy!
don’t use this where the run-off might get into ponds, lakes or streams as tsp is phosphorous and isn’t good for marine-life.
alternatively, you can use tonic water (it contains quinine) for the same effect, although it doesn’t glow as brightly.Attachments:
