Creamy Jalapeno Cilantro Ranch Dressing
3/4 cup Sour Cream
3/4 cup Mayonaise
Juice of 1/2 Lime
1 small bunch of Chives (equal to about 2 Tablespoons chopped)
Small handful Cilantro
1 or 2 Jalapeno Peppers, seeds and stem removed (depending on how hot you like stuff)
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground Black Pepper
1 clove Garlic
1/4 to 1/2 cup ButtermilkPlace all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend for 10 seconds. Check consistency and blend in buttermilk. (Use less buttermilk for dipping, more for dressing). Store in an air-tight jar in the fridge.
Makes about 16 (2 Tablespoon) servings.Enjoy! Thanks; Virginia

For anyone GF/DF here is my Garlic Ranch Dressing recipe:
Creamy Garlic Ranch Dressing
This was a major success, especially for those who have been waiting for a RANCH dressing! I made it
simple by doing it all in one blender batch.Ingredients:
½ cup almonds, whole raw(not soaked or sprouted)
½ cup water
1 cup light olive oil
4 TBSP lemon juice
1 large or 2 small cloves garlic1 cup water
1 TBSP nutritional yeast flakes1 TBSP cane juice crystals (can use any type of sweetener)
1 TBSP whole peppercorn
2 ½ tsp sea salt2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp dill
1 tsp chives1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions:
In a blender, blend the almonds and water. Then drizzle in the olive oil. Once emulsified, add the lemon
juice and blend.Turn off blender. Add the remaining spices and blend. If it’s extra thick, you might have to make a well
with a spatula for water to get down to blades. Blend until you don’t have any big pieces of garlic and
peppercorn. It should be a pourable consistency but will also thicken up even more after in fridge
overnight. ENJOY! -
