do you realize how many hours it would take someone tohackin to uploada booklet (created and printed by nestle) onto their own site?! No I don’t – I have never built a web-site, hacked one nor ever had an interest to do learn how to do either. I was just trying to throw out a possibility.

I am a little surprised that you aren’t more concerned about their reaction to this. If you printed a coupon from your home and went to the store to redeem it, how do you suppose you would react to being told they are contacting the police because you just participated in coupon fraud?Assuming that all you did was visit a Name Brand site and print one of the promotions listed right on their page. (People do get arrested atstores forcoupon fraud). I was surprised at your extreme reaction.

As far as people getting arrested for coupon fraud, the only thing I have heard of is groups of people running counterfeit coupon rings. I have never heard of a store calling the police to come and arrest a person for a coupon. Now, just because I have never heard of it happening does not mean that it hasn’t.

It’s interesting to see the different views on this. I guess when I do business with a company, I expect them to act morally and ethically. If a mistake is made, I expect them to act like adults and admit it, rather than pass the buck to the first scapegoat in site, in this case, frugal consumers.

I don’t know if you have ever worked in big business (at a middle management or higher level) or not, but there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that the customer is not privy to,This is a case where I would like to see the internal memo’s on this along with disciplinary records of employees involved.

As far as doing business with moral and ethical companies, Wal-Mart had got to be themost unethical and immoral company in my opinion. They have abused their employees and contractors (how many law suites have been and are still in court brought by employees and contractors?!?!?!?!), put mom& pop and small business out of business and have cost numerous American factory workers their jobs, all so folks can pay a few cents less for an inferior product made in China.

Sadly,I suppose the days of taking responsibility for ones actions is long gone. Unfortunately I will have to agree with you on this one!!!!

      >> Maybe their site was hacked and the fraudulent coupon posted and they don’t want the world to know their site was compromised. <<

Do you realize how many hours it would take someone tohackin to uploada booklet (created and printed by nestle) onto their own site?! lol.

ifhacking were the case, they wouldn’t have sent out initialemails stating it was legit.

Regardless, quite clearly, hackingisn’t an excuseoption asThey stated intheir response to my email, that this was part of a 2006 campaign and is no longervalid.

      >>Something astrivial as a coupon is not going to cause me to loose faith in any company.<<

It’s not the coupon that concerns me, it’s the company’s willingness to Instantly blame the consumer for their own inadequacies.

any company that is supposedly “family orientated”, yet accuses it’s loyal web site visitors of fraud (just for printing the promotions offered on their own site) has moral and ethical problems.
