When I coupon I use the couponmom.com web site to organize my shopping trips. She has links in the web site to get online coupons for a lot of the sales.

Lately I have been working insane hours at my job so I haven’t been able to coupon.

What I’ve done instead is the following…
1. I buy marked down produce from Ingles. Theiy mark down their stuff signficantly before the expiration date. This has been a lifesaver.
2. I buy out of a scratch and dent cart when I can. Stuf isn’t really dented sometimes. I bought I don’t know how many boxes of cereal for almost 1/2 price. (I only buy organic cereal)
3. I do SEVERE comparison shopping between stores and even within the same store. If you buy something that can be considered an ethnic food then look there and where the regular produce is stored and see which is cheaper. I found organic brown rice almost the same price as the regular brown rice.
