you wouldn't have to pay sales tax on that. My dh works parttime for sears in Pdx and a lot of people from WA come down to his store to buy their appliances so they don't have to pay taxes. If they pay for it and take it home themselves they don't pay taxes but if they have the store deliver it then the store has to charge sales tax. T

He has saved up enough money and we figured it would also be several hundred just in sales tax. We have a gold costco card so we will get 2% back at the end of the year….but I figured we could go to Oregon and buy it at their costco since there is no sales tax. Now since we are using our costco card that says we live in Washington etc…are we going to have to pay the sales tax? I just want to make sure we wont have to pay it if we drive the 3 hours each way to the closest costco in Oregon(even with gas etc we will still save Hundreds$$). We will be paying cash but we still have record because of how costco has membership cards…Thank you,
