Hi, I made my first batch and to tell you the truth I like it. I have tough laundry and lots of it. If you read the amount of each ingredient you will see that you can make three batches out of the fels naptha and the washing soap and the borax you only use a half a cup and you will be able to make many batches out of one box.

So a rough guess I think that you can make it for about $1.50 for 2 gallons and it only takes a half of a cup per wash. So for my family it is a saver for us but I probably do about 15 loads of laundry a week. Also it took about 10 minutes to make I thought it was very easy.

more than the store bought. Personally, I prefer store bought, but I
don’t have the time to mess around with trying to make it.

      I’ve
never made it, so I just want to know
if I’m really going to save
money. I figured someone has already been through this
      exercise….Thanks!!
