Here’s the pizza dough recipe that is our family favorite. It’s tender,
chewy, and delicious.
Corner Cottage Pizza
Put ingredients listed into bread machine in order that manufactorer
directs, ( all wet ingredients first or all dry ingredients first) then
select “Dough” cycle.
1 1/3 cup water
2 Tbsps. olive oil
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup bread flour
2 tsps. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsps. cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 tsps. yeast ( I use SAF)
When dough is done in the bread machine, take it out and gently deflate,
then cover and let rest for 15 minutes. You can refrigerate dough in an
oiled plastic bag for up to 2 days. When ready to make pizza, roll and
stretch out dough to fit a pan that has been greased with olive oil. Add
pizza sauce, and any toppings of your choice, (meat, pepperoni, olives,
onions, etc.), then top with cheese. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and bake
12 to 15 minutes.
