These are very popular around here!
My golden is allergic to gluten so I always substitute a gluten free baking mix everywhere I would use whole wheat flour. You can use either.
2 cups whole wheat flour (or gluten free blend)
1 1/4 cups natural shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup canola oil
4 – 5 Tbsp waterProcess flour, cheese, and oil in food processor until mixture is coarse. Slowly add enough water to allow dough to form a ball.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/2″ thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
Bake on ungreased sheets at 400* for 10 – 15 minutes, turning biscuits 1/2 way though cooking time.
Store in fridge.

I made something similar this year and added a tsp of garlic salt. The dog wouldn’t stay out of the kitchen lol…I think he now recognizes the smell 🙂
