2 sticks butter
1/2 cup Crisco
3 cups sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 (80z) sour cream
5 large eggs
1 tsp vanillaGrease & flour tube pan.
Crem butter, Crisco & sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Sift dry ingredients together.Add to mixture, alternating flour & sour cream. Mixx well. Stir in vanilla.
Pour into pan & place in cold oven. Bake at 350 for 1 hour & 15 minutes or until done. Do not open during the first hour of baking.
