      1 (2oz) pkg slivered almonds
      1 Tbs butter, melted
      20 large marshmallows or 2 cups mini marshmallows
      1 cup strong coffee
      1/2 pint heavy cream, whipped
      1 baked 9 inch pie crust

      Spread almonds on cookie sheet & drizzle with melted butter. Bake 8-10 minutes at 300 degrees & set aside. Put marshmallows in saucepan & add coffee. Place over low heat & cook until marshmallows are melted. Allow to cool, then fold in whipped cream. Pour mixture pie crust & spread evenly. Sprinkle almonds on top & refrigerate.
      Serves 6-8
