Unfortunately, that *is* the kind of world we live in. What do you
suppose happens when he grows up, finishes college, and goes to interview
for a job? Do you suppose they *won’t* judge him by his clothing and
shoes?

On the contrary — that’s one of the things they will judge him
on the *most*! I’m not endorsing this, just stating cold hard facts.
