I have to say I really feel for your 14 yr old. I strongly suggest you
check out ebay for jeans, etc.. Normally a pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans or
Gap jeans can run about $7per pair on ebay a used pair.

      I am a seller on
Ebay so I sell stuff all the time. I grew up with really bad clothes when I
was in grade school and part of highschool. Sure my parents werent rich but
do you know what their main problem was??

      They were’nt resouceful!! Anyways
they never cared what I wore to school as long as it wasnt ripped. My self
esteem was crushed everyday by kids who would make fun of me till no end.
Sure you can say that shouldnt matter, but I’ll tell you it does, big time!
      Anyways a few options.

I think its really important for kids to fit in and
I know around here and many parts Rustler jeans are not cool. I buy most of
my daughters and my clothes off of Ebay and at the Thrift Store.

Buy from the thrift store-check if they have sales sometimes they have 1/2
      off days.
Buy from Ebay, I buy myself and my daughter clothes there all the time.
See if there is an older kid in the neighborhood that you can buy the
clothes off once he grows out of them.
Check the newspaper sometimes people will be getting rid of a huge lot of
clothes for teen boys at a great price.
The best is to go to swap meets and garage sales. That is where you’ll get
      the best prices.

You can even send you teenager to the swap meets and garage sales in your
area, give him a little money and let him buy what he needs. I think he’ll
be a lot happier when he gets to wear clothes he likes.

I think if you get resourceful on his clothing you’ll end up acutally saving
money, instead of buying the new Rustlers.

Also buy pants a little longer and hem them, when he grows a bit then take
      them hem out.
      good luck!! kathy

we have a 14 year old who wants only the 17 and up dollar jeans.
First he grows so fast that I have problems paying that for jeans he will
grow out of in just a month or so.

      Blessings,
      Theresa
