      Based on that theory of virus lving in them, babies would be
      constantly sick. If they were sick one time and any virus passed
      thru and ended up in the diapers, they would be constantly re-
      infecting themselves, wouldnt they. Sheesh.

      Most people wash their cloth diapers thoroughly enough that there are
      no germs left. Between the hot water, soap, bleach (for those that
      use bleach) and the dryer (or clothesline), any germs are either
      washed away or dryed to death.

      Personally I would probably use a little bleach the first time too,
      just for my own peace of mind. Remind your husband that after new
      cloth diapers are used one time then they are used!
