Recipe via Meal-Master ™ v8.05
Title: Classic Biscuit Recipe – 216 WaysCategories: Breads, Biscuits
Yield: 12 Biscuits
2 c All-purpose flour1 tb Baking powder
1 tb Granulated sugar
1/2 ts Salt4 tb Butter or shortening
3/4 c Buttermilk or milk
216 wayscolumn a
lemon peppercajun seasoning
column cgrated parmesan
crumbled goat cheese
shredded cheddarshredded monterey cheese
grated swiss cheese
crumbled blue cheeseheat oven to 425 degrees. In bowl, stir dry
ingredients together. Using your fingers, rub butter
into flour mixture. Stir in milk until just combined.Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface. Pat dough
flat to 1/2″ thickness. Cut 12 biscuits using a 1-1/2″
round biscuit cutter. Bake on a greased baking sheet15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Cal 123; Fat 4 gr; Fiber 1 gr.
216 WAYS: Add 1 ts choppedherb from Column A, 1/2 ts of a spice from Column B
and 1/2 cup of a cheese from Column C.
