      Title: Classic Biscuit Recipe – 216 Ways

      Yield: 12 Biscuits

      2 c All-purpose flour

      1 tb Baking powder

      1 tb Granulated sugar

      1/2 ts Salt

      4 tb Butter or shortening

      3/4 c Buttermilk or milk

      216 ways

      column a

      rosemary

      sage

      thyme

      basil

      tarragon

      oregano

      column b

      cumin

      chili powder

      black pepper

      lemon pepper

      cajun seasoning

      ground coriander

      column c

      grated parmesan

      crumbled goat cheese

      shredded cheddar

      shredded monterey cheese

      grated swiss cheese

      crumbled blue cheese

      heat oven to 425 degrees. In bowl, stir dry

      ingredients together. Using your fingers, rub butter

      into flour mixture. Stir in milk until just combined.

      Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface. Pat dough

      flat to 1/2″ thickness. Cut 12 biscuits using a 1-1/2″

      round biscuit cutter. Bake on a greased baking sheet

      15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

      Cal 123; Fat 4 gr; Fiber 1 gr.

      216 WAYS: Add 1 ts chopped

      herb from Column A, 1/2 ts of a spice from Column B

      and 1/2 cup of a cheese from Column C.
