  When he is sick he gets a fever.He is prone to getting the croup every year at least once but sometimes more.

  I would definitely bring him to an M.D. to be checked. As a medical professional I can tell you that sweating through the night is not a symptom of ADHD, but can be a symptom of many other illnesses. Does he ever have a fever?
