      that is so true. I live in southern NJ, just outside of Philadelphia. Teenagers

      get anywhere from $5 to $10/hour for babysitting. More after midnight! If you

      are putting a child in a weekly program, it’ll run up to several hundred per

      week. Some get lucky and find it for much less. The physical therapist at where

      I work only pays $75/week for her infant daughter, full time!! In a wonderful

      home setting with a retired teacher who is supposedly wonderful. She REALLY

      lucked out, there’s a long waiting list.

      Wow! I guess location has everything to do with it. I

      live in a suburb of Boston, and the going rate for

      part-time childcare is $7/hour. Twenty-five years ago,

      when I was babysitting, I used to get $2/hour.
