Chicken Stew 1 tbs olive oil 6 slices bacon, diced 8 oz mushrooms, sliced 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped 6 bunch green onions, sliced 4 chicken breast halves, boneless, cut in 1/2- to 1-inch chunks 4-oz sliced ripe olives 2 tbs balsamic vinegar small can tomato paste 14.5-oz can tomatoes 1/4 cup chicken broth 1/2 tsp dried ground marjoram 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Add olive oil to slow cooker and spread bacon over the bottom.
Add mushrooms, bell peppers, and green onions. Spread chicken over these ingredient. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Half-way through, stir to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
