How to Make Your own Chick-Fil-A Sandwich

      3 c peanut oil
      2 T salt
      1/2 t. pepper
      2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
      1 c milk halved
      1 c flour
      2 1/2 T powdered sugar
      2 T melted butter

      4 plain hamburger buns
      8 dill pickle slices

In a ziploc bag or bowl combine flour, sugar, salt & pepper.

In a medium size bowl beat the egg, add the milk and whisk to combine.

Dip the chicken the egg/milk mix and then into the bag of spiced flour, shake to coat, repeat to ensure a thick, even coating.

Deep Fry, flip. While the chicken is frying lightly butter the burger buns and put 2 pickles on each set.

Drain the chicken on paper towels before placing on the bun.

To make the Chick-fil-A® Deluxe Sandwich add a slice of american cheese. (I like to add onions too).

I have neither a deep fryer or pressure cooker—any other suggestions?

Absolutely, just heat oil in a deep pan on the stove. You’ll need 2-3 inches of oil and heat it to 350F

Niddi, I am completely stunned that the batter has powdered sugar! I’ve never actually eaten Chick fil a! Now, I’m tempted to go have a sandwich. I love Bojangles anything…giggle… Wendy’s makes a few chicken sandwiches that are quite tasty. I think that I’m going to have to do a drive around and compare sandwiches at all of the different brands;-D If I like the Chick fil a, I can come home and duplicate it thanks to you!
