This is a great Super-Bowl appetizer. As most of you know, I don’t normally used processed foods for anything, but a friend of friend made this and it was fabulous and she said that I could share her recipe. It is a tasty dip for sturdy chips, tortilla chips, or veggies!
Cheese and Sausage Dip
1-lb pkg Velveeta Cheese, cubed or shredded
1 can Chili – no beans
1 lb medium, hot, or spicy sausage, browned and crumbled
Combine Velveeta cheese, chili, and browned sausage in crockpot.
Cook on low for 1 hour.
Stir as necessary to blend. My crockpot has a warm setting, which works great. If you don’t have a warm setting, you may have to play with the time on low and ‘off’ to keep it warm but not burned.
It really is delicious! I love dipping raw broccoli or cauliflower (more surface area = more dip! LOL!).
