Hi Randal There are several things you need to think about when purchasing a new printer 1. What do you use the printer for 2. Do you need other features – fax, scanner, copier 3. cost of ink jet cartridges, or lazer jet 4. Space for printer. I just purchased a lexmark 1200 which is a printer, scanner, copier and fax all in one. It was under$50, whichI thougt was a good buy.There are two size ink jet cartridges the smaller ones do not last long. but I am hoping to purchase the larger one which is more money. I checked the sale papers for Staples, Offcie Max, Best Buy and Circuit city before I even checked them out. I hope you find one fairly inexpensive.
