Still only purchasing meat/seafood from the mark-down bin. This week will produce meals that will be stocking the freezer.
Sunday — black-eyed peas with bacon, corny bread, and sliced tomatoes: $5.91
Monday — black beans with smoked sausage over rice and salad: $6.27
Tuesday — sautéed liver and onions, almond-broccoli-pasta casserole: $5.07
Wednesday — Kielbasa-onion-potato skillet dinner with green beans: $5.25
Thursday — dirty rice and salad: $2.50
Friday — baked spaghetti (using last week’s leftovers) and leftover broccoli casserole: $0
Saturday — smothered hamburger steaks with gravy, pierogies, and green beans: $7.99
Meals for Sunday and Monday (both prepared in the crockpot) will go to the freezer for future meals. The meals for Tuesday and Wednesday are meals that will be revisited! LOL!
Total for the week — $32.99.
