  Sure – if you use the same provider. If you go with a different provider, they you will have to get a new phone.
  Don’t forget to notify the provider you do not want to renew your contract – some automatically renew, others drop to month to month (and your rates can go up).

  I have a Razor phone and the contract is almost over, can i use the same phone for a pre-paid phone and just buy the time?
