I heard one years ago when I was listening to a Jackson, MS radio station.

One 6 ounce can of really cheap fish flavor cat food

      half cup of flour

one ounce of cod liver oil

Now a word of caution, this stuff **STINKS** when baked, and leaves

an oily residue. I used an old bowl when I would make it for Dad,

and wished I had worn gloves since I was forming the balls by

hand. We had an old toaster oven that we put on the porch and used

      that to cook them.

Mix the 3 ingredients in a bowl, add more flour if you need it to

      make a sticky dough.

form the bait into balls, slightly larger than marbles.

Place the bait balls in the toaster oven, and cook at about 300

degrees until the balls develop a leathery skin.

Cool, then store in a sealed container until use.

Just slide one of these on the hook, and start reeling in the fish.
