Cat food

I have heard that cats must have Taurine – I would be interested in

anything you find out as I have a 16 yr old cat that when I took her in

for what I thought were teeth problems they found a growth too. They

removed growth but said it may come back.

She ate good for about a week or two and now isn’t eating very well. I

have been buying beef consumme soup (it has more protein and less

sodium than beef broth) and I mix a couple TBSPs of soup, water and

some canned cat food together. Since she doesn’t eat much at a time I

use about 1/4 can of catfood. I feed her 3-4 times a day and I’m lucky

if she eats 2 portions a day. (If she doesn’t eat – I save it and feed

it to her again an hour or so later). Good luck KarenMO
