I was washing my old dull car yesterday and came across some great recipes that made my car look nice and shiny! The window cleaner is simple and truly no-streak!
It is 1/4 cup each of rubbing alcohol and white vinegar with one tablespoon of cornstarch (or arrowroot for corn allergies), add all to a spray bottle along with 2 cups warm water, shake well and just spray on and wipe off with newspaper or microfiber rags etc. Homemade car wash concentrate is 1/4 cup baking soda with 1 cup dawn dishwashing soap and for added shine add 1/4 cup of conditioner or lotion that has lanolin in it, mixed in a gallon jug full of water.
When you use it mix with 2 parts water to one part solution. I was worried about the baking soda scratching my car but if you use warm water it completely dissolves and is non-abrasive.
