Here’s what we take camping…….I included the prices of some of the things to show that disposable sometimes wins out over things that have to be taken home and re-used. We buy most of our stuff at places like Big Lots and Dollar Tree. 1. tent and screen house 2. sleeping bags for kids to lay on & air mattress for me (being a parent has to have some priviledges..lol!) 3. pillows, odd sized/stained sheets from yard sales in place of blankets 4. tarps to go under tent (saves wear & tear on tent floor) 5. disposable aluminum pans (rectangle) to use for cooking/reheating (2pk for $2.00) 6. table cloth for picnic table ($3.00) 7. paper plates (100 for $1.00) 8. plastic silverware (50 pieces for $0.50) 9. citronella tea light size candles (48 in pack for $3.00) 10.
plastic cups (25 for $1.00) 11. glow bracelets ($1.00 for 6) 12. tongs & grill brush for grill/campfire ($1.00 each) 13. bamboo skewers for marshmallows (100 for $1.00) 14. cooler w/bottles of water frozen at home for ice 15. bug spray 16. sun screen 17. toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, etc 18. minimum 3 complete changes of clothes per person 19. 1 extra pair shoes/sandles per person 20. flashlight w/batteries ($1.00) 21. folding camp chairs ($3.00 each from yard sale) 22. frisbee, football, soccer type ball, etc Hope this helps!
