Kathy, thank you for posting the ice-cream cake recipe I will have to try this one of these weeks after we get past the holiday and hubby’s b-day.
I plan on making him a sheet cake using my cookie sheets for the cake itself. My question on this is has anyone tried this? I’m not sure what the difference between a cookie sheet and a jelly-roll pan is and I don’t want to make just a regular sized cake in a 9×13-inch pan.
Also do I have to use parchment paper or will wax-paper work to keep it from sticking to the pan? If I use wax-paper how do I keep it from trying to stick to the pan and smoking when it cooks?
OK one last question. What kind of frosting would go good on a white cake with lemon filling?
