1 can tomato soup 1 can beef broth 1/2 C. red burgandy wine 3 T. four 1/2 t dried basil 2 lbs Stew meat 5 med potatoes peeled and cubed 5 carrots cut up 1 large onion cut up
In large saucepan combine 1st 3 ingredients. Blend in flour 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper and basil. Add meat and veggies stir well. Simmer for 4 1/2 hours (med heat) continue to stir frequently!
Makes 6 hearty servings. This one is a favorite of my dad.
