In my case I have never had to by any flour in balk other then at Xmas
time for backing. I keep my day-to-day flour in the fridge. I was
lucky to find an airtight contain at big lots that holds one 5lbs bag.
When I was young my mother would use bay leave in the flour tin. I
never say a bug in any of her flour growing up. Bugs are not a problem
for me because I live up north. I only keep mine in the fridge for
freshness.
