After the office stores stop their sales, Wal Mart will drop their “regular” prices down to what the office stores have right now.>>

Wal-mart will match competitor’s ads at any time so you don’t have to wait for them to drop prices. Bring in the current ad when you shop and show it to the cashier. He/she can override their price.

The exceptions are that they don’t do a % off or
buy 1 get 1 sales. Occasionally, you may find a fussy cashier that does not want to do it, but you can just ask her/him to call a customer service manager to come to the register and help you. Make sure you’ve read the ad carefully and have the exact same item and the correct size (if they don’t have the same brand, like a store brand, you can substitute wal-mart’s store brand or the cheapest brand they carry) and observe the limits listed in the ad (for example, office max here has 2 pocket folders for a penny each–with a limit of 5).
