I am also pretty lazy and when I was looking at the math I found that I
would get more if I took the time to make the gel. So it was just my
personal choice to take the time to make the gel.

I am super lazy. I make my laundry detergent into a
powder instead of a liquid. It works fine and is way
easier than melting the soap flakes, cooking it into a
gel, etc.
