I don’t have a recipe for this but it’s inexpensive to make, tastes really good, and is very filling. Laurie
I make about 6 hard boiled eggs,and slice them into about 2 cups of medium white sauce then serve over toast. This is the recipe I use for white sauce but I double it.
White sauce recipe; 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat; Blend in flour, salt and dash of pepper, stir until smooth paste. Add milk all at once, turn heat up to high and cook quickly, stirring constantly till mixture thickens and bubbles. Makes 1 cup.
