I work with Brownies (ages 7-9) and Pathfinders (ages 12-15) thru the

Girl Guides. One game that is really easy, and the girls always have

a blast is “the chair/seat on my left”. Everyone sits in a big circle

with one empty place. The person to the right of the empty seat

says “the chair on my left is free, I would like (someone’s name) to

sit beside me. Then that person leaves their chair and comes over to

sit beside the person who called her. That leaves another chair free

etc etc. The girls have a blast with this, sometimes having the same

person move back and forth a few times in a row (usually one of us

leaders). It also gets everyone knowing each others names.
