Hi folks, here’s the recipe I used for Christmas and some of
the people were strangers to me and just raved about the
brownies. Hope you enjoy! P.S. I always put a bay leaf on
top of the mix in the jar to make sure to keep it bug free as
some people don’t use right away. On the card with directions
I say to throw the bay leaf out! Blessings, Pat
BROWNIE MIX…………makes 16 brownies
Put in jar in layers:
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. choc chips
3/4 c. white sugar
1/3 c. chopped pecans or walnuts [optional]
2/3 c. brown sugar
Attach a note with the following instructions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease an 8×8″ sq. pan.
2.In a large bowl, stir together 2 eggs, 2/3 c. oil, and
1 tsp vanilla. Stir in the contents of the jar, and mix well.
Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
3.Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool, and cut into squares.
You can put a pretty Christmas ribbon around the top of
the jar for decoration……….
